Dear Jumpalooza Hangout customers,

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that Jumpalooza Hangout (and the newly opened Hideout) will not be reopening.

Over the past 2 years with your continued support, we have taken a business that was losing money and brought it to a breakeven position. The year 2020 needed to be a year of growth in order for it to become a profitable enterprise. Who knew on February 1 as we had a grand re-opening and the opening of our new Hideout that only 6 weeks later we'd be closing the doors.

Unfortunately, 2020 has been the opposite of growth. We have been closed 9 weeks and we are still not ready to reopen. Our business counts with large groups gathering and sharing inflatables and other equipment. Sanitizing between customers isn't feasible and social distancing is not a part of our business model. The facts are, I just can't pay the rent, salaries and liability insurance with only 25-50% of customers without going into a lot of personal debt which I don't want to do.

Finally, even if we could open, I'm not sure when we should open. We pride ourselves on a safe environment where you can enjoy your kids playing - with friends, grandparents and even strangers! We can't provide for your health & safety going forward.

I've used all my remaining cash to refund all deposits so that our customers can have their money back in their pockets to use to celebrate their children's birthdays a different way.

I'm in negotiations with the landlord to attempt to keep my assets and not have to bankrupt the business. I'd like to think that maybe at some future date we could open again and serve you. However, the landlord also has his own issues with many business struggling to make their rent payments and his need to meet his own financial obligations. So it's unknown for now how this will play out.

I want to thank you for being the very best customers anywhere. Our staff became a family, and we enjoyed coming each day to spend it with you. I thank you for your loyalty and patronage. I've made many friends along the way and I will cherish those forever.

I will keep our social media and website alive as long as I'm able. And who knows what the future holds. While there are many unknowns moving forward, What I am sure about is that for every door God closes, there's another one waiting to open. I wait with anticipation what that will be!
